Ziyang Day Trip: Discover China's Ancient Carriage & Character Culture from Chengdu

Most tourists rush to Chengdu's panda bases. They miss Ziyang. This hidden gem is just 30 minutes from Chengdu by bullet train.

My Canadian friend Sarah asked me last week. "Where can I see authentic Chinese culture near Chengdu?" I showed her Ziyang's treasures.

This ancient city dates back 2,100 years. It's home to China's "First Han Dynasty Carriage." Also features amazing character culture.

Here's your perfect Ziyang day trip guide. Learn the fastest route from Chengdu. Discover ancient artifacts and local snacks.

Getting to Ziyang from Chengdu

Take the high-speed train from Chengdu East Station. The ride takes only 30 minutes. Tickets cost 45 RMB.

Trains run every 20 minutes from 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Choose "Ziyang North Station" for city access.

Buses take 1.5 hours and cost 60 RMB. Trust me, trains are much better.

Book 8:00 AM trains for best experience. You'll arrive ready to explore at 8:30 AM.
